SWIMSUIT INTERNATIONAL WORLD FINALS:
The above winners then joined the rest of the World Finalists on stage for the big showdown on Saturday, June 2nd and the competition for
the prestigious title of Ultimate Swimsuit Model 2001. Here are the results of the World Final:
4th runner-up – Jeanette Martinez, 24 from Boca Raton, Florida. Prize money: $1,000
3rd runner-up – Lisa Ray, 27 from Harbor Beach, Michigan. Prize money: $1,500
2nd runner-up – Piret Aava, 20, from Estonia. Prize money: $2,500
1st runner-up – Jennifer England, 22 from Los Angeles, California. Prize money: $5,000
Ultimate Swimsuit Model 2001 – Natalie Abramov, 23 from Russia. Prize money: $10,000
The judging panel included last year's Ultimate Swimsuit Model winner Lisa Gleave, Playboy's Marilyn Grabowski, Swimsuit International
Magazine editor Jim Lagerstedt, Caesars Palace President John L. Shigley, Playboy Playmate Lauren Hill and Mystique Magazine photographer Mark Daughn.
The Swimsuit International Magazine Model Search finals were produced by The Creative New Yorker and sponsored by Caesars

The events enjoyed extensive media coverage and a number of television shows were produced on location including one for the
Travel Channel and a pay-per-view special by DPM Entertainment. The girls were also followed around by a crew from Inside Edition.
