Swimsuit International Magazine
"Bikini Superbowl" extravaganza
arrives in Las Vegas!

RUSSIAN BEAUTY TRIUMPHS AT 2nd ANNUAL SWIMSUIT INTERNATIONAL MODEL SEARCH WORLD FINALS

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – The lavish "Garden of The Gods" pool complex at Caesars Palace Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas was indeed a fitting venue for the 2nd annual Swimsuit International Magazine Model Search World Finals as the cremé de la cremé of the world's up-and-coming swimsuit models gathered to compete for a number of coveted titles and more than $30,000 in cash and prizes.

The event has been billed the "Superbowl of Bikini Pageants" as it continues to attract winners from the world's top pageants such as Miss Hawaiian Tropic, Miss Venus, Miss Hooters, American Dream Girl, Miss Ujena and Ms. Hit The Beach etc.. It coincided with Swimsuit International Magazine's launch into USA & Canada. The launch issue features internet supermodel Cindy Margolis on the cover and inside the magazine.

The models spent a fun-filled week in the undisputed entertainment capital of the world in the lead up to the finals and their busy agenda included meeting the members of N*Sync and the Mayor of Las Vegas, Mr Oscar Goodman who handed each girl a miniature Key To The City at special function hosted by Planet Hollywood located within the Caesars Palace Forum shopping complex, as well as a visit to a Hooters Restaurant, a ride up the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Casino & Hotel and catching a show with Beatles tribute band Fab Four at the Flamingo Casino and Hotel. They also added some extra glamour to a celebrity opening of a brand new nightclub at Caesars called Shadow.

However, by the end of the week, it was time to get down to business. The first of two finals was held on the Friday night and the proceedings were opened by the Emperor himself. Joined by Cleopatra and flanked by two of his ever present Centurions, Caesar proclaimed that "not since he laid his eyes on his beautiful Queen Cleopatra for the first time had he seen such astounding beauty gathered in one place".

The near impossible task for the judges on this first night was to select seven (7) finalists out of the twenty-four (24) candidates who were to join the rest of the finalists already qualified for the World Final on the following night by virtue of being a major titleholder or an international entry.

The winners had to patiently wait for the results as they were kept secret and only announced 24 hours later at the World Finals. Click here to find out who the winners were!
