Publisher and Editor in Chief of Swimsuit International Magazine, Jim
Lagerstedt was impressed with the caliber of contestants this inaugural event attracted. Says Mr Lagerstedt "Judging the final of the 2000 Swimsuit International Magazine Model Search was one of the most
difficult assignments I have ever had to do, but it was a fantastic event and I could not have asked for a better launching pad as we are about to launch our magazine title on to the American and Canadian markets in
a few months".
Swimsuit International Magazine was born a couple of years ago and is the brainchild of Mr Lagerstedt. The title was initially launched for the Asia Pacific markets mainly focusing on
Australia and New Zealand. Its entertaining mix of swimwear fashion, travel and entertainment features, including comprehensive coverage of the world's top pageants, makes it truly unique.
Building on
its popularity, the magazine is now poised for an aggressive launch onto the US and Canadian markets.
